Dead Computers
I have gathered everyone here today to remember two computers that have sadly passed away. They have served well during their lifetimes and have been terrific friends. Let me tell you a bit about these two magnificent and very OLD computers. The computer that was on the right of the one I'm using right now has been alive for 10 years. I used to play on it a lot when I was a kid. :) That's not the reason of it's death. The prime suspect are the mice that were in the suite before. There is evidence too! There was rat poop in the engine. Wait, is that what you call the thing? I have no idea. The computer on the left of the one I'm using right now I have not known for very long. It is also around 10 years old, it's just that I don't think I used it as much. The "esc" key on that keyboard is still sticky because I spilled soda on it when I was 7. :) Yes, I was even a klutz back then. Now, let us forever remember these two brave computers and wish them a good "afterlife". RIP computers. I'll miss you. :)

Poetry Writing
YES!!! I have now finished the poem assignment! You may or may not know that I'm not the biggest fan of poetry. I'm far from it. I can't take all of this in between the lines stuff. I just want the straight forward info! >.< This is probably the result of my excessive lazyness... I should really start working on being more active. Anyways, back to the poem. So there I was, sitting there at the dining table writing my "poem". A boasting poem. :) I then realized, what I was writing about doesn't exist. The ruler of the penguins... Oops. Then again, maybe penguins can be a metaphor or symbol for people? I don't know. I just finished writing it though so I don't really want to start over... It sort of makes sense though. I can type it out another time. For now I have to go and finish my French homework and finally go to bed. SO until tomorrow. Good bye.

First Day on the Job
Fish feeder, plant waterer, and mail collecter at your service! :) Yep, today was the first day on the job. It was so... jobtastic. Let me tell you in extreme detail how I did my job... ~FLASHBACK ~ So there I was at the front door step, and it was there that I picked up the mail. Then I opened the locked door by unlocking it with the keys. I almost forgot that the keys were still in the keyhole when I started to go inside. :) Luckily my trusty sidekick ,aka my friend that went along with me after school, noticed and smacked me on the head. I then realized and took the key with me. Oops number one. After that, I put the mail on their desinated area, the living room coffee table. I proceeded downstairs into the basement. The place where the ferocious goldyfish lives. I read the note stuck on the goldyfish's golden shining cage for the instructions of my job. I then realized that all I had to do today was feed the fish a bit of food and pick up the mail... Let me just say that feeding the fish was NOT easy. I wasn't sure of how much to feed the beast. I didn't want the poor thing to die. >.< I will continue my duties as fish feeder, plant waterer, and mail collecter till my contract expires. :) I will give another job report when I feel like it.

So Close Yet So Very Far Away...
Oh Spring break. You're so very close and yet I feel like you are still months away... These 3 days until it actually starts is like TORTURE to me. I'm a very impatient person.... :) So I'm sitting there, doing homework, just waiting for those miraculous 2 weeks of break to come. Sadly, during those supposedly wonderful and "work free" weeks I have to finish my book talk speech and extra copy to hand in, not to mention the science hydraulics project... Not much else is happening, I hope. I just have to get through this week and I'm FREE. FREE!!!! I thought that this week was going to be easy to get through. I was WRONG. I just finished my socials and math homework so that's good. But now I must study for my socials Chinese history quiz, poem quiz that is tomorrow, and to prepare some points for the science debate. I'm a fisher. :) Tomorrow is going to be soooo very busy.

The Knitting Saga: A Few More Problems
Last time on our adventure, we were left off with too wide of a scarf and a big hole in the center that I can no longer "redo" since I just carried on and kept knitting. This week, there are even MORE problems. Yes, just when you thought that the hero of this knitting saga aka me :) had enough troubles. Now there is the major problem of too loose. Yes, I have knitted the so called "scarf" too loose. There are now BIG holes almost EVERYWHERE!!!! Ok, a little exaggeration there but it is getting a bit too loose. Join us next week for the next report of the KNITTING SAGA!!! Now back to Fishious Penguini with your afternoon news and traffic. :)

New Job: Poem Analyzer
I hate my new "job". I don't even get paid to do so. T^T Just kidding! :) It's not really a job but it sure feels like one. >.< And let me say that it's not an easy job. It should be on one of those hardest jobs in America shows. It's a job of torture!! To me :) I'm pretty sure it's because I'm not too good at "finding the hidden meaning" or if it's just because I'm absolutely no good at it for an alien like reason. :) I chose what seemed like a pretty "simple" and straight-foward poem but apparentaly not. It took me a while of thinking and pondering but I figured it out. I have no idea if it's right but at least I got something related to the poem and not some mumbo- jumbo that makes no sense! Let's just say that i'm not too fond of it. Then again, I shoudl get used to it because I'm doing this for another term. Might as well start practicing. :)

Poetry
Ahhhh, the fine art of poetry. The way the words flow and the meaning comes within... I'm not too good at using that kind of formal language. I can't do formal. I'm NON-FANCY. T^T non-fancy living in a fancy world. There's this picture on someone's locker and it's soooooo very hilarious. I'll take a picture someday and upload it. I think the picture's been there for almost three months. It's TOO FUNNY!!! :) Now back to poetry. I think I looked for almost an hour looking for a good poem to analyze for English. I didn't think that it will take me as long as it did. I found a pretty good one though. I don't know if it's a good one to analyze but it's a fun one in my mind. I'll post it later since I want to sleep now. I'll post it tomorrow. I promise. I never break promises unless I feel like it. :) No I'm kidding. I can keep a promise. :) Or can I? :O So very mysterious...

A Very Forgetful Day
This is the proof that my memory is slowly dying. Then one day it will diminish completely! :O This morning I was in quite a rush to get to school and let's see the important things that I completely forgot about. FIrst of all that could have been fatal. I forgot.... MY LUNCH!!! Do you know how devastating it could've been for me? Now you're probably wondering why I'm using the word "would". My mom gave me some lunch money before I left the car since she was the one that actually notice my lunch bag wasn't hanging off of my backpack. After I got to school and the food problem was in control, I realized that I forgot my Strings music! :O Oh no's. Usually my violin's at home but this week I left it at school but my music is at home. I left ALL of the music sheets on the stand... Oops? Luckily, one of my friends is in the same Strings class as me so I just borrowed her's for today. :) So there's a happy ending in all of this forgetfulness. Yay!

I Can't Believe Determination Works
Yes, I have just found out that determination takes you to places you couldn't ever reach before. I have just witnessed it's magnificence just a few minutes ago in two places. Exhibit A, I actually finished my science cheat sheet TODAY! I thought that it'll at the very least be finished tomorrow. :) Then I started working, not paying any attention to distractions, I kept going and going and then I realized something. I finished it. :O So very shocked when that happened. Which leads me to exhibit B, kintting. :) Since I finished the science cheat sheet way ahead of schedule, I had extra time to knit and "relax". I didn't really watch TV while I was knitting. Yesterday I tried that and ended up with a huge gaping hole. :) So there I am, sitting on the couch knitting like crazy. I finished what I hope is at least 1 fifths of the scarf. :) Sadly, I made the scarf a bit too WIDE and it takes forever to do one "set". I hope that the magic of determination continues to work for me. :)

Knitting Away!
I'm not sure why but it seems like the thought and skill of knitting has been implanted into my head. Sadly, it's not good skill. More like, I accidentaly made a big hole in the scarf and almost disconnected a strand of string. Knitting is NOT in my blood. :) I spent sooooo very long on it though that I'll feel really bad if I completely mess up and just give up. After a while, I finally stopped making so many mistakes and got the hang of it. Then I realized that the scarf was TOO WIDE. It's double the size it's supposed to be. I think that the width looks more like the length... My neck isn't that wide... I'll have to make a smaller size I guess. :) I hope I'll do better on the other ones. I'll just keep "practicing" on mine I guess. I'm probably not going to wear it. :)

The Curse of Langara
I am here today to talk about the unfortunate and devastating curse of the Langara golf course. To this very day, many students have been absolutely TERRIFIED when they have seen the curse... How to even begin to describe this. Let's begin with today... At around 9:00 AM, the students in my gym class got back their marks. The mark that lowered every ones, the Langara run. :O Many people were left without homes due to the unmet expectations from overachieving parents. It's so very sad. I could've been one of them. Luckily for me, my mom was over joyed that I got the B we both wanted. YAY. One little example of win-win. We both got what we wanted because we "changed" our expectations. The win-win rule will soon reach all the ones left devastated by the Langara curse. For now, let us help them and hope they will be let back into their homes. :)

House Sitting :D
As you should know, I was supposed to look after my friend's fishy and now I'm been promoted to house sitting!!! :) Quite a promotion huh? Instead of just looking after the fish, I now am in charge of watering plants, picking up mail and something about a sprinkler. I'm starting to think that no promotion would be less work for me... Well, I already agreed and I need something to do during the Spring Break anyways. I think the first day of my new "job" starts next Wednesday. My goal for the break, keep the fish alive. Oh please fish, please live. Don't die. :( Think about lil ol' me. :) Think about how happy you will make me if you live instead of floating lifelessly on the top of the tank.

Not Much Stuff Going On
Not much really happened today. Now that the term is over, there's not a lot of homework anymore and not too much left to do at home. Today I went with my usual morning routine. Wake up too late, rush through my unfinished Chinese homework, go to my Chinese class. Simple? Pretty much. The only "different" thing about this regular Saturday is that I went to get a new pair of Spring shoes. I can't wear winter boots in the Spring time right? My feet would be sweating like it's been in the desert all day. You do not want to know how bad it smells after that. Phew. My schedule for tomorrow's pretty simple too. I just have to go pick up the keys to my friends house so I can feed her fish during the Spring Break since she's going away for a bit and to buy a new binder. I'll tell you more about the fishy business later. Now I have to go to my bed and sleep. Yes, I'm very tired. I'll give you a long and detailed explaination tomorrow. Well, maybe a brief one. Let's see how I'm feeling first. :)

Luck?
I'm soooooo very happy that I haven't flunked my Strings test. Surprisingly I did quite well. Only a few times did I miss a tone by a bit or did the wrong bowing. Overall, an "A". :) Then after lunch, I got my English and French mark. In French I'm doing extrememly well even though in a lot of the small tests I got a B. At least I think I did. I never bothered to actually calculate the percentage. In English I'm just getting an A. Thank you the math rule of rounding. If it didn;t apply, I would be getting a B. For once in my lifetime, I'm thanking math. I'm not too sure it'll happen again but let's see. We never know for sure. :) I don't know if this ray of good marks is just pure luck or I have "skill". I'm going with luck for now. The mark that I really want to know is my Socials mark. I rushed through a lot of the forum work because I always slack off on it so I want to know how well I did. I just found out a few weeks ago that it's worth around 10% of our Socials mark. I thought it was only 5%... If only I didn't slack off during term one and term two. Then I wouldn't be rushing through it last minute. That's going to be one of my goals for term three. Keep up with all of the Socials forum work. :) I hope that I can achieve it.

Almost Done
My litle finish waht i have to do on the socials forum ended a bit late. I finished most of the things but there are quite a few things that it was too late for. For instance, I wasn't able to finish many food for thoughts and sale trivias. They're only on for a week so I often miss it. :( I'm quite glad that I was able to finish the current event responses and 2 threads. At least I can get enough points to get a low B for the forum part. I think, I'm not that sure. For term 3, I'm going to stop procrastinating. I'm going to make it happen even if I have to give up my precious Spongebob time. Never again will I have to worry about unread books for book tests, unfinished work on the Sale forum and I won't procrastiante for the knitting. That is if we're allowed to work on it at home. One quick question, I'm not that sure on how to count the super blogs. Do we count it as a regular blog or a different category? I'm really confused for that and I'm thinking of doing several super blogs during the spring break. :)

Too Much Food
Uhhhhhh.... Ate waaaayyy too much food today. I thought it was only going to be a large pizza and that's it. Then when I got to Panago, I saw the special deal!!!! $5 for 10 pieces of chicken wings, $2 for breadsticks!!! It was too tempting. In the end I got the large pizza, the chicken wings, and the breadsticks. Now I feel like I'm going to explode. O.O in a good way though. At least I exploded full instead of hungry. To me, being hungry is a sin. :) I should start my own little religion. Penguinia... No that sounds like a country... Either way, I'm probably going to be the only person that worships it. I should start making my own little religion that's more fictional than anything. It'll be more fun thatn doing homework all day. I want something fun to do. I'm tired of doing homework. Whoa, I just noticed something. My breath kinda smells like pizza!!! Major discovery!!! The rest of Penguinia must know!!! I'm still thinking of a name for my pretend religion... I'll post any news on the blooming and completely fictional religion as soon as I make something up. :)

The Beginning
Just t make sure, this is the first blog of term 3 right? I'm hopelessly confused with these things. :) There's not really much to talk about today. Just a whole day of finishing things and even more homework. Now we have a Science project to do as well! I thought after the term was over, everything was supposed to be RELAXING. Guess not huh? Well, I'm pretty much done with the forum, I'm wuite happy with that. only 12 more reviews and 1 more thread if I have time. I just found out that the reviews are worth more than the threads! So I'm going to finish the reviews first, then if I have time I'll finish the last thread. I still have that small glimmer of hope in getting a A in socials. In pretty much everything else, I'm getting B's. I know for sure that I'm getting one in English, PE, Socials (at least I'm pretty sure), and maybe Strings. :'( Well, the strings mark depends on how well I do tomorrow. I practiced a lot today so I think I'll be ok. Fingers crossed. :)
