Yet Another Day

Nothing too special about today. Just an average day1. :) I found out that I'm getting 85.2% in english which is sooo sad (0.3% from an A!!) also because I'm getting that in math. It's ok though. I'll try harder next term. I learned how to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Starson the cello. Yes, it's genius. No need for applause. When I was getting back to my seat someone asked me about the bird sanctuary field trip. I completely forgot about it! I was even more shocked when I heard it was this Thrusday. This Thursday! AHHHH! I was thinking about going to buy myself a new pair of gloves because I lost my old ones. Tee-hee. I'm not organized. Now I'm doing some quick preparations and then SLEEP!! This is my chance to finally catch up on some sleep. YAY~ One quick question, is it ok if I hand in the field trip form and money on the day of the field trip?? Thanks, that's it for today. No more questions. :) I'm gonna head off to bed now. Good night!

Square Dancing

Not loving square dancing at the moment. It kind of reminds me of ballroom dancing from the last 4 years. The big difference, the instructions. These ones are so much more confusing! I'm not very fast at learning steps because of my extremly bad memory so often I forget the steps and I can't hear the words in the song so I'm just there wondering what steps we're doing. I was also in a group with only Gr. 9's so they knew what they were doing. I was so alone! :( Next time I'm gonna try to stay with my friends, they can help me a bit more I think. Other than that, not much else happened. The only other thing is that I spent the rest of my time at home either studying for tests or at Safeway. I have 2 big tests tomorrow and I had to go grocery shopping. I barely had time for anything else! I have to go take a quick shower now and then head off to bed. I have to study a bit more for my tests in the morning before i go to school. I have it planned out. I think.

The Sunday of Relaxation

This Sunday was sooo...relaxing. It just seemed that I didn't have to do anything or worry about anything but just lie down and RELAX. As you probably know I got to bed really late last night and i still do want to get lots and lots of sleep during the weekend, I woke up at around 11:30 AM. I know what you're probably thinking, how can I possibly wake up that late. I'm not sure, all I know is that I woke up then fell asleep again. The rest of the day just sort of went by. I ate, I read, I watched TV, and I napped. Not much else. I also did homework. Not a lot though, just science. I probably should have practiced my violin too. Oh well, too late now. I'll just practice some more tomorrow. For some strange reason, I'm tired now. After all that sleeping I'm still tired! There's only one answer...more napping and more sleep. Good night everyone! :)

Yet Another Party

I had to go to yet another party again this week. I'm not really sure that it's called a  "party" more like a small gathering of friends. :) For some reason I'm going to one almost every week. Sometimes I don't want to go because I want to finish homework and other work but it seems kind of impolite just to say that. On the bright side i do have friends there so I just hang out with them until it's time to go home. I got home extremly late today and that's why I'm writing my blog right now. Sitting at the computer desk, completely tired. The only thing keeping me from collapsing are the cups of hot cocoa and pop i had today. SUGAR!!! It's wearing off though. The gathering was pretty much the same as always. Not much a difference. We eat, me and my friends play, I go home. It's routine. I'm cutting today's blog a little short because of my exhaustion, I'll try to write more tomorrow. GOOD NIGHT!!! :)

No Snow...

All the snow is...gone. HOW?!?! There was soooo much yesterday!!! I'm guessing it's the rain. It turned everything to slush. No more beautiful snow, just muddy slush. Boo. :( It's probably going to snow again soon. I hope it will. Thanks to the sudden change in weather, I wasn't able to go outside and play in the snow! I just stayed home, all cooped up. I need fresh air too! There wasn't much I could do at home. I got extremly bored of doing homework after a while. Honestly, everything became really boring after a while. I did catch up on all my lost hours of sleep however. I gues there is a happy ending to my at home story. I'm really tired now so I'm heading off to bed. Good night. :)

So Much Snow!

There's so much snow outside! In just one night! Absolutley amazing!!! Thanks to the snow, my dentist appointment was cancelled even though the snow stopped before the actually time of the appointment. When my mom cancelled it, the snow was still drifting down. It was so pretty. :) All you could really see was white. Lalalalala... The snow was fun, really fun. I finally got back at my friend Charmaine who kept throwing snow balls at me throughout the week. There was finally enough snow for me to make a proper snowball. i threw them like this was my last day on earth. Ok, maybe a little too dramatic. We also made a faild snowman. We put the head on the middle part first so it was too heavy to lift onto the bottom  part. We ended up making two snowmen. One with a HUGE head, one with a flat, tiny head. :) I got home really late today because of that. I just made myself a big cup of hot cocoa and curled up on the couch. I'll do the homework that I have tomorrow. :) I hope I can finish it all in time.

Possible Snow Closure

I can't believe that there is a chance for a snow closure tomorrow!  It's only the end of November and there's going to be that much snow? Unbelievable! The weather this year is really... strange, weird, abnormal. I would describe it like that. I don't think it's going to happen though. I'm looking out the window right now and no snow is falling. I heard that 5-10 cm were supposed to fall over night! It's a lot for just over one night! At the moment, I think that there's a 90% chance that school would stay open. It would be nice for a snow closure though. I can go outside and hang out with my friends. I can also catch up on all of my homework! It'll give me some time to work on the brain project too. The track mete is tomorrow though. If there is a snow closure, it will be cancelled and I bought all that red stuff for no reason! Will it get moved to another date? Hopefully it will, I'm actually looking foward to gym for once. :)

First Term 2 Blog!

First term 2 blog. Yay! It is today right? Ok. Thanks a lot for answering all my questions. I know there was a lot. I didn't get to the Lesson 7 extensions or family reflections yet. I ran out of time... Just to make sure, I e-mail you my website right? Do I e-mail the go program part of it or the specific parts? Just making sure. I'm going to just e-mail you the go program section of the website. All the other parts are subpages of that page. Still kind of confusing. Nothing else really happened today. It got colder, that's for sure. It's weird. Last year it snowed for 3 days and this year it snowed in November. NOVEMBER!!! That's so early for snow to fall! TOO EARLY!!! I'm freaking out at home for the past day. I think it's the cold, it doesn't do me much good. Just makes me shiver and cranky. There's only two ways that the snow can make me happy. First, it stops. Second, it makes the hills of my elemantary school snowy enough to sled on. YAY! 2 years ago i had a lot of fun on those slopes. I told you about that already right? I'm pretty sure I did. Anyways, I'm extremely tired now and really want to go to bed. Stay warm! :)

Totally Confused

I'm so confused on many things today. Mostly on the Go Workbook and the brain project. Also confused on other stuff but they're not that big. I'll figure those out by tomorrow. Few questions today, I think you saw this one coming when you read the title. First thing, I still don't know what to do for the family reflections part of the Go Program so I didn't do any of them. I also don't know how we're supposed to post the Get Go either. I just wrote that stuff in my agenda or sometimes in a notebook. Second, are we supposed to finish the worksheet we got today for next time? I also don't really know how I'm going to narrow the topic down. I'm doing phobias and I can find lots of info for that but when I narrow it down to a specific type of phobia like apiphobia (a fear of bees which I have) I can't find anything. That's pretty much all the questions. Not many if you think about it. I guess it really depends on how you look at it. Bla... I'm so tired right now. Oh well... BEDTIME! :)

Normal Sunday

Today was normal. Just like yesterday. The only different thing about today I think is that I had to go outside to dig up some soil for my science project. The soft-ish snow from yesterday has already turned into large chunks of ice! My mom also went outside to help me loosen up the soil and to clear up the paths. I almost slipped on the ice on the trip back inside. I don't know why but it's kinda depressing this kind of weather. Like the snow is great and all, but after it stops snowing and it starts turning into slush and ice it's depressing. I guess it's the gray skies. Yeah, I'm more of a summer person. The winter time just makes me sleepy and depressed most of the time. I am looking forward to sliding down the slopes on my sled when it snows some more. I remember 2 years ago I flipped over when sliding down a slope. Good times. It didn't hurt or anything and my mom got a picture of me upside down so it's pretty funny. :)

Regular Saturday

Today's pretty much the same as usual. Nothing too different, just a regular, relaxing Saturday. I have to do a lot of homework tomorrow and a lot of other stuff. Wow...tomorrow's going to be really busy. I just noticed something. I always miss writing a blog on Fridays. I only missed it twice so far so I can't be sure. A few things different about today. SNOW!!! It's snowing!!! The snow came really early this year though. I remember last year it only snowed for 3 days in the area I live in. It was so extremely...sad. My mom was really happy that there was now snow last year. Easier to drive in. She's thinking about taking the bus to work instead of driving now. Only when the snow is really deep or if the road is really slippery. Preparations for snow = new snow boots! My mom agreed to buy me a pair of snow boots when she saw the amount of snow in just one night. She also might my me a pair of rubber boots for when the snow turns into slush. If you're wondering what slush is, it is a combo of rain and snow. Not pretty, fun, or helpful in any way I can think of. I'm ending this blog with a question today. Where is the family reflections instructions posted? Or where can I find them? Some people said you posted it on your site but I counldn't find it. Thanks for the help and sorry if the questions are a little confusing. I wasn't sure how else to put it. :)

Testing

All the tests finally over with! All except the French tests. My French teacher was away again so we ended up performing the skit we wrote last time. We were supposed to remember them but we were also supposed to get time today to practice. Me and my partner just brought our skit with us. No marks were taken off for mot remembering. Yay! :) Now we have to do this dialogue story. Kinda confused for that. My science test didn't go that well today. I think I got the first part of the matching questions all wrong. I messed up the organs. Oops. On the brighter side, there was no violin test today! There's one next Monday! Yay! I have the weekend to practice and hopefully pass the test. A few questions today for you today. Do we post the Cars worksheet onto our website and I'm doing the brain project on phobias right? Do I have to post that somewhere? Sorry if the questions are kind of confusing. I couldn't think of another way to put it. Thanks! :)

Busy Busy Day

Today was quite busy once I got home. It was quite busy in the morning too now that I think about it. I forgot that today's class started at 10:17 and thought that it started at 10:30 which put me at a extremely late start. I also kept forgetting to do things. I had to quickly print out the field trip form for the Mini We Day event before my friend came to pick me up. I then forgot to bring my lunch so I had to run back upstairs to get it. I arrived to school on time surprisingly. After school I didn't have a lot of homwork, I just have 4 tests tomorrow and had to study. First test, French. There's actually two of them but I like to think of them as one. Second test, book test. Not that hard, I just had to finish reading the whole book today. Third test, Strings. I'm still not that well prepared but I did not have a lot of time. Last test, SCIENCE!!! I studied for that one the most but I think I'm least prepared for that one though. I'm not sure what I'm going to do tomorrow. By the way, I never got the Cars document. Did you send it by email or did you post it on your website?

Typing So Many Things

I had to do a lot of typing today. Too much for me. First i had to finish typing the story for my socials project. Me and my partners are working on it tomorrow so I had to finish typing it so we can put it on tomorrow as well. I think we only have tomorrow left to work on it. It's due this Friday and we all can't work after school. We have to start working faster. Much faster. The next thing is the vocab for a english group project. I thought we could just copy all the work in class but someone in my group is printing it all out instead. Less work in total I guess. The blog isn't that much typing so i'm ok with it. One little question, I can post the worksheet onto my website in the Applied skills section. I'll have to create that section later. Thanks. :)

First Day of the New Rotation

The new rotation is confusing me. Well, not really confusing, more annoying me. Now after math, I have a break so I don't have anything to do during the break. If I go somewhere else I'll be late for my next class which is science and is right above my math class. So I have around 15 minutes to just talk. :) After lunch is the problem. I barely have time to change into my gym clothes. I can't just change during luch and wear it to social class because my socials teacher doesn't really like people wearing it. Today I managed though. I changed extremely fast. I barely had enough time to organize my stuff before the bell rang. It rang when I just finished changing. I change in the washrooms because there are less people there so there isn't a line up. :) I rushed through the halls to get to gym on time. I did. Yay! I'm not sure about next time though. Hopefully I won't be late. :)

Project Time

Worked on the map project for socials today. My partners came over to my place to work on it. They also came over on last Friday but we didn't get enough done. The project's due on Friday so we really have to get some work done...fast. One of my partners didn't make it today. Her mom had a church thing so she couldn't come. Me and my other partner got a lot done though. We finished the map and a few headings. I also started typing the story but I only finished the prologue and 3 chapters. The story's incredibaly long. I think it's really good though. :) Me and one of my partners wrote it together, we might turn it into a book. If we are, we'll add more chapters and maybe an epilogue. Ha ha. She said that Fed-ex can turn them into books. I don't know, I never done that before. That's pretty much all that happened today. I don't know how I'm going to get used to the new rotation. AHH!! It's like the first day of high school all over again. Is it ok if I bring my violin to Applied Skills on Day 1s? I don't know if I have enough time to go to my locker and put it away.

Hotpot Party!

Went to a  hotpot party today. :) It was fun! two of my friends went. They don't go to Churchill though but one of them is thinking of going next year. :) The hotpot was really tasty. It didn't cook fast enough so we had to use the stove. That was only for me and my friends. We ate later than the other people so while they at least ate a little, we ate NOTHING! After using the stove, we were full. I mostly just ate fish and this vegetable. I'm not entirely sure what it's called. After the food, we just kinda fooled around a bit. Somehow the time passed so quickly! I got there at 5PM, played a bit, ate, then left at 10:40PM!!! Wow. I completely lost track of time! It was incredibaly fun though. I think they have another one next week but it's not as big as today's. :) Sorry I forgot to write yesturday's blog, I was really busy and I forgot. One quick question, do I write an extra blog to make up for the one I missed? If I do, I'll just write it tomorrow. I don't have enough time today.

Friend's B-Day Party!

The party was so much fun! One of my other friend's dad drove us so I won't have to take the bus and risk getting lost. I would've had my mom drive me but she's working today instead of tomorrow. :( At first i thought that meant I couldn't go but then it all got figured out. Me and my friend were the first ones to arrive. We ate most of the nachos because of that. Soon after, other people came. After the nachos and the tour of her house, we played Truth or Dare. One of the guests weren't here yet so I used one of the gifts, which was a huge stuffed dog, as her. I named the dog Beary Babooshka. We changed the name to Bulliene for the game. We changed it back after. After everyone got here, we played, that's right, Musical Cushions! Exactly like musical chairs but with cushions. My gift, the little stuffed duck, was now called DJ Blob Duckinson. The DJ part's just for the game. Then there's also Mix Master Beary Babooshka and Boo Doginston. I made the names. :) We also watched a movie, ate the cake while picking some of the melted wax off of it, and ate pizza. It was soooooooo fun. I didn't get to watch the entire movie because I left early. I heard that the party ended around  6pm but I left at 5pm. It was still a lot of fun though! If only I was allowed to stay there for a bit longer. :)

Body Worlds

The Body Worlds exhibit was a lot less gross and disturbing as I thought it would be. I thought that I would be throwing up by the end of the exhibit but it wasn't too bad. In the beginning they didn't show too many full bodies that were really "artistic". The freaking thing is that the ones with heads and eyes seem to be staring at you. I had a staring contest with one of them. I lost. After me and my friend finished going through the exhibit, we went to play. Wee! That part was fun. When it was lunch time, I was really surprised that i didn't lose my appetite. I actually bought a poutine to eat. Part of the reason was I wanted to sit in the restaurant. Tee-hee. I didn't get to finish my croissant sandwiches from Safeway though. I buy a lot of stuff from Safeway. My friend's dad drove us back to school so we got to stay a bit longer at Science World. I got a bruise though. I know exactly where I got it and I remember the pain. Oh the PAIN!!! The edge of a sign hit my elbow. For a while it kinda felt like it was being stabbed by something. Now there's just a ugly bruise there. Purple-ish now. I'm not sure where I found this but 5% of people wonder how they got the bruise, 5% don't know they have a bruise, and 90% of people poke the bruise to see how much it hurts. I'm not sure if it's true or not but it is funny! I'm definitely one the the 90%. I always poke the bruise after I find it. :)

Gift Shopping

Yay, yay, yay, yay. My friend said that her dad can drive us on Thursday so I can go to my other friend's birthday party now. Yay! So today I went last minute gift shopping at...Safeway. At first I just thought I'll buy her a gift card but that seems so boring. I bought her a cute little stuffed duck plushie as well. Luckily, the plushie was only $6 so I was able to buy it. If it was over $8 I would've gotten a package of chocolate covered pretzel sticks instead. The rest was pretty simple. Buy a card, buy a gift bag, buy some of the paper. I have two of the three things already at home. AHH! I'm soooo excited. I have to leave the party early though, the party ends at 5PM but it gets really dark at that time now. So I'm leaving at 4:30PM instead. Still good. Now all I have to do is wait. :)

Birthday Party

Not my birthday party, my friend's. I just thought that I need to make that clear first. The sad thing is, I can't go. There's actually a extremely good reason so I can't argue. First reason, I have no idea where she lives. Ok, I know that she lives in Killarney (I think I spelt that wrong) but I don't live close to there. She lives on the east side of Vancouver, I'm on the west side. Second reason, if my mom didn't have work that day, Thusday a work day, she could drive me so location wouldn't even matter. Third and what I think is the last reason, I don't take the bus often so I get lost really easily unless I took the bus there once and sort of memorized what the route looks like. I had to tell her that I couldn't come and I was so sad that I can't go. Boo. If only the party was on a Sunday.

Time Change

So tired right now. I don't know why but everytime the time changes, my sleep schedule gets messed up. I don't know why, the amount of hours is still the same but I just feel so much more tired. Usually I go to bed at 10PM which is now 9 PM but don't feel tired at 9 for some reason. Maybe it's just the way my brain works. I'm sooooo tired now. It's around 11PM before the time change when I'm writing this. My brain isn't wroking that well right now. I can barely keep my eyes open right now. Yawn. I really need to get some sleep. I'll write more on my blog tomorrow. Maybe. One question, do we fill in the go extension then paste it onto our website? Thanks and good night. :)

Chinese Homework

AHHHH! I got a lot of Chinese homework today. Boo. A lot of time I run out of time to finish the homework and end up doing it Friday night or Saturday morning. I don't think I can do that this time. I finished a lot of it class but then my teacher gives us even more homework in the last few minutes of class. That was the big assignment. We had to rewrite a story in one of the character's point of view. It's not as hard as it sounds, the story isn't so complicated. It just takes a long time to figure out how to actually write it! As you know, I don't know how to write that much Chinese. I probably have to ask my mom for a lot of help. I first have to finish a lot of my school homework though.

Watermania!

Watermania was so much fun! Woo! I don't even mind that I missed two classes! That reminds me, I still haven't got the homework for those classes yet. I'm think about that on Sunday night. Back to Watermania. I barely ate any of my lunch because we had to leave like 10 minutes after 2nd period. I had gym that period so I had around 7 minutes because I take a long time to shower. I finished my lunch on the way back. :) I don't know how to describe all the things I did. Really, I don't remember a lot of it. I do remember going so many times down the slide that the person up there kept giving me and my friends the " you're here again" look. Ahhh...good times. I can't exactly swim but I'm fine as long as I'm not in the very deep end. It the water's a little higher than me, that's fine. I don't have very good experiences with water. But we're friends again. I'm not sure how, water doesn't talk that much. My feet were so cold on the way back because I was just wearing my flip-flops. I ran out of time to change my shoes. :)

Violin Strings From the Past

Strings class was kind of disturbing. I defiantly lost my appetite after watching that video. Why? The video was on how people made violin strings in the past. They didn't have all the fancy stuff we have today so they used sheep intestines. Yes, from an actual sheep. The video was extremely detailed in my mind. The show was actually called the world's worst jobs! You can actually see the person cut open the skin and watch all the guts basically fall out of the sheep! It was sooo disturbing! Then later they show how to clean the intestines and they basically squeeze out everything! I didn't want to watch because it's so disgusting and yet I want to because it's so interesting! Now I can't get the image out of my head. AHHH!

A Spongebob Dream

I had a really crazy dream last night. I'm not sure why, but it was Spongebob themed. Oooh, freaky. Okay, in the dream Spongebob went to the Krusty Krab to go to work as usual but then Patrick also comes and says something about the air being depressing. I think it was something like that. Then they went to the basement of the Krusty Krab, which does not exist. They then started to nail a wooden board across the room because it supposedly "makes the air happier". Mr, Krabs then got really mad at them because he can't open any of the lockers because Spongebob and Patrick nailed the board there. Then all of a sudden...I woke up. :) It was a really strange dream and it didn't really make any sense. I'm still kinda confused. I wonder why I got this dream. I guess I watch too much Spongebob. :)

Bubble Tea!

Sweet sweet bubble tea. It's so nice to drink one of you again. I missed your sweet flavours. Sorry for the strange beginning. The reason, I finally drank bubble tea again. The last time I drank one was during summer break! Such a long time ago. But, I just bought one today so I'm once again familiar with the sweet drink called bubble tea. I don't know why but almost every time I order bubble tea it's always strawberry flavour. Only once or twice has it been a different flavour. Weird... I don't really eat the actual strawberry fruit, I just like strawberry flavoured things! Kinda like me and oranges. I should really eat more fresh fruit. I just realized that.

Sick Again...

Cough cough. That's what I've been doing all day. Yes, I caught a cold. Not just any cold but my friend's. She had a really bad one so bad that she had to stay home for a couple days! So sad that it was passed to me though. :( This year isn't too different from last year. I don't know why but every year at around the same peroid of time, I get a cold. It's usually not so bad just a average cold. A few coughs, sneezes and headaches...Still not as good as being completely germ free. Might as well just stay warm and cozy until spring. Yes, that is usually when my annual cold ends. Cough, cough. That's that my mom's going to hear from me for a while.
