The Thrill of a Lifetime

That merry-go-round ride at Richmond Center is one of the greatest inventions in my mind at the moment. I had the ride of a lifetime with my friends. Flashback moment. Wooooo. It all started when one of my friends saw some kids on the merry-go-round ride. She suggested that we went on as well. I sat on a little boat with who I think was Tigger. Then when all was so well, my ship got hijacked by my own friend. The agony!!! :'(  The lucky thing is that it was our turn on the merry-go-round! :) Yay!!! Since Anthea (the only name I will mention) paid, she got to choose her seat first. She chose the turtle that i had my eyes on. We're too alike. So I chose a seahorse, I named him Lightning! :) One of my other friends chose Nemo! Then the ride started. My friend on Nemo was bragging how I'll never catch up to her since Lightning was behind her. It was all fine at first, but then Anthea started complaining about how her butt was hurting so much. The turtle was for REALLY little kids like tottler little. There's no way we'll actually fit in that seat. My leg kept hitting one of Lightning's fin and my foot kept getting jammed somehwere. Anthea eventually got up from her seat because it was hurting her too much and just squated and held onto one of the bars. The only one without injury was my friend riding Nemo and my smart friends who decided not to go on. It was definately a ride to remember. :)

A Day of Pure Laziness

I feel kind of guilty at the moment for doing absolutely nothing today when I had A LOT of things to do. It's a really bad habit of mine. I always put things off to the absolute last minute. I try to correct the bad habit but no matter how hard I try, it never seems to work. I have been getting better though, at least I know I have a problem. At the very top of things to do today that didn't get finished, the brain project and science fair display. I never do extremely well with big projects. I can't exactly pace my work speed. :( My goal for tomorrow is to at the very least finish my brain project notes and start on a design idea for my science fair display. I'll give a half report tomorrow. Doing a full one will be a little difficult but I can try. AHHHH! Said the word "try". Yep, trying to correct more than one bad habit now. This might turn out to be a productive break after all... Yeah, probably not but there's always that little bit of hope. :)

Richmond Center

My little theory of prices was right! I went to Richmond Centre with my friends today and the prices were much cheaper than the ones in Metrotown! I can't believe it! Other than that, I had a lot of fun just hanging out with my friends. We were going to watch a movie but all of the show times were after 4:00PM and that was the exact time I have to start going home. How... inconvenient? One of my friends suggested going to Oakridge to watch the movie but that would leave no time for Richmond Centre then. She really wanted to watch the new Narnia movie. It was supposed to be really good. The rest of the day just sort of went by. We went into a couple of stores, didn't buy that much in the end though. It was fun going on the miniature Merry-Go-Round even if it hurt my foot. It kept getting stuck because the ride was designed for kids 8 years younger than us. :) It's still fun going on those rides. :) I think that was actually the highlight of my day. I don't lead a very exciting life. This is as thrilling as it gets.

Reunion :D

I finally got to see one of my bestest friends from elementary school again. I can't usually see her because she's going to Prince of Wales instead of great CHURCHILL!! Last year, me and some of my other friends were trying to convince her to go to Churchill instead but since her brother goes to Prince of Wales her parents think it's better if she goes there too. We just sort of hung out today. me, her, and another good friend. I prefer not to mention names here for privacy purposes. First, we went to annoy one of my other friends who eventually joined us. I actually got lost looking for her home. Turns out, it was 72nd st instead of 71st. I was so sure that it was 71st! After that, we were just at the park. We were really loud so a lot of people seemed like they were wondering what in the world we were doing. There wasn't that many people at the park though. It may be because that we went to the old park instead of the new one. We went to the new one as well but there weren't any people there either. Weird... Usually there are a lot of people. Maybe an alien from Pluto came to visit and took them as souvenirs! Yep, that's probably it! :)

Winter Break's Ending...

NOOOO!!! Winter Break's going to be over soon!! NOOO!! It went by soooo quickly! It's like it was only yesterday that I was enjoying the BEGINNING of Winter Break. I only have less than a week to enjoy myself. I only have less than a week to catch up on all the work for the brain project!!! AHHHH!!! I'm going to be soo busy!! I can almost feel tears streaming down my face. Yeah, I'm that lazy. I do have a lot of work to do though. Like starting on the presentation and doing some notes. I'm so far behind... I have to get over procrastination!!! It's always been a bad habit of mine. I always put things off to the last minute kinda like what I 'm doing now. I'm going to be so stressed... Sorry if this blog's really depressing. I needed a place to vent... I should still get my sleep so that's what I'm going to do now. Tomorrow is the start of WORK!! At the moment, it's seems like a LOT of WORK!!!

Boxing Day

Boxing Day. Also known to many as happy shopping day. Or maybe save money on clothes day. Are you really saving money? According to an insider, a person part of the merchant business, you might not be actually saving money. The insider's identity will not be revealed... Wow, that sounded so much like a news report. The facts are true though. Sometimes they just stick a 50% off sign to it without actually giving you a discount. No wonder there's a similar holiday called Black Friday. There is right? I'm not so sure if I got the holiday exactly right. One of my friends told me about it. I didn't but too much stuff today. I was out for around 5 hours but i think 2 hours were already used on parking and LINES!!!! I only went to around 8 stores. All I bought were 3 T-shirts. I went to the Metrotown mall so that might explain the reason behind the crowdiness. The prices are actually MORE expensive than the stores in Richmond Center! The same stores, same items, different original price. I'm guessing it's because of the mall's reputation. I just go to metrotown because they have one of my favourite stores that isn't in Richmond Center. Oh well. :)

Yesterday's Christmas Eve PARTY!!!

Now I shall tell you the details of yesterday's party but not in extreme detail. I got there at about 4:30- ish. I'm not sure of the exact time because I didn't check the clock until it was time to eat. I'm only guessing the time. There wasn't anything that happened that was really "different". It was pretty much the same as what happens when I go there. The parents do their things and we just go to someone's room and hang out there. the reason, not as much noise so we can actually hear each other talk. The party also proved that I have the worst memory in the WORLD! They gave me a list of names and things then told me to remember as many as I can. Out of 10, I got one correct. In my defense, they were really difficult names not common ones. The only one i got right was penguin. There's no way I can forget that! :) The other ones I got, I forgot again. I really have to improve my memory somehow...
